WHAT IS
FEAR

A FEATURE DOCUMENTARY SERIES ABOUT THE TRUE PURPOSE OF FEAR

SYNOPSIS

In a world where fear reigns as both a silent captor and an elusive mystery, "Crack Me Open", the first film in a series of documentaries, invites audiences on a profound journey of self-discovery. Through a captivating blend of expert opinions, personal narratives, and investigative exploration, this intimate story delves into the labyrinth of human emotion, particularly focusing on fear, the most misunderstood and pervasive cornerstone of our dis-empowered civilization.

Protagonist Endre Kvia, on a life-saving cancer journey himself, guides the audience toward a powerful realization: that fear, in the overwhelming majority of cases, is no longer a protective mechanism but a stifling force, robbing humanity of its inherent power, wisdom, and purpose.

This feature documentary asks, is it possible to move towards our fears, even if it is death staring back... Challenging conventional beliefs, the film urges viewers to reconsider their perceptions of fear, revealing it not merely as a hindrance but as a profound catalyst for transformation.

Through an immersive visual and sound experience, and guided by the wisdom of some of the luminaries of our time, we follow a protagonist determined to uncover what lies behind fear.

This mythopoetic film is a call to adventure confronting the ultimate gatekeeper, for once fear is understood and reclaimed, it becomes a gateway to profound liberation.
